We are very proud to inform that the Nordnes achieved another milestone in her life!. She has been taken up into challenging projects all over the world and all with their own specific requirements. Currently were working at the Gorgon project in Australia. At this moment the Nordnes installed 10,000,000Te in her lifecycle!

The Filipino Channel

After the recent upgrade of the television system on board FFPV Nordnes, the previously installed TFC (The Filipino Channel) was not working anymore. Thorough investigation, creativity and hard work made apparent that technically there was no problem getting the signal back to work. Joint efforts were made to achieve a suitable solution for getting the channel back in working order again.
Following steps were undertaken to successfully re-install TFC:

The OCM from the sister vessel FFPV Stornes was consulted for advise on the configuration
of the satellite dishes on Nordnes.

OCM from Nordnes arranged renewal of the subscription package and his wife prepaid the
subscription fee for TFC (EUR 250 p/a).

ROV Pilots on Nordnes made minor adjustments to the newly installed TV system allowing
the reception of TFC from Atlantic Bird-3 Sattelite.

All in all this is a perfect example of "Another Job Well Done", by one team, for one team.

Dear Nordnes crew,

Thanks a lot for the beautiful gifts we received today on behalf of our daughter Elea. She is very very happy with it. Pink absolutely is her's, and my wife's, favourite colour, so choices were perfect. :-) Elea is doing fine, today 12 days old. My wife Katinka is also recovering fine from surgery, although it will still take some weeks before fully recovered. Me, I am doing perfectly fine, how could it be different, having 2 beautiful women around in my house all day long. Couldn't have wished for more. Wish you all the best!!!

Hello everyone!!

We (Justyna and myself) would like to thank you all for your sincere wishes and a BRILLIANT movie. We watched it the day after the wedding and all the guest enjoyed it very very much.

Justyna says that the problems with my ears are getting worse and worse ;) Apparently I'm not able to hear and carry out simple commands - but that's what happens when you get married I guess ;)

Anyway. Many THANKS for the whole Nordnes crew and all the effort!!

We are flying tomorrow on our honeymoon to Fuerteventura so expect the next pictures from there (from the beach - not from bed, so don't worry ;)
